Alaska Cruise/ Juneau

We got up extra early to watch for whales and other wildlife from the ship.  It was a little foggy but someone would scream out ‘there is one’ and everyone would scurry over to where they were pointing; like the whale was going to sit there and wait for everyone to be able to see him.  It was fun and exciting to be hunting for the whales.

While we were eating breakfast a little girl about 6 years old comes up to her dad with a piece of fruit cut into some elaborate design.  As she shows it to her dad he asks what it is.  She say ‘I don’t know, but isn’t it pretty?’  Then she sits down and tries to figure out how to eat it.  Kids are such fun and they remind us that we should find that same kind of joy in the little things each day.
